Erin Fisher - Vocalist
Erin grew up in the San Francisco Bay area surrounded and enchanted by a wide array of cabaret, jazz and pop musicians. Performing from an early age, she has sung with Phil Mattson, Richie Cole, Don Shelton, and a touring group that headlined at Carnegie Hall. In addition to her role as a lead vocalist, she’s also a voice teacher, choreographer, and accomplished solo artist.
Erik Martinez - Vocalist
Well-versed in rock, pop, R&B and jazz, Erik is a free-spirited singer and freelance musician. He has toured internationally and performed in scores of the finest venues from Los Angeles to New York with artists such as Kurt Elling, Fred Hersch, Norma Winstone, Darmon Meader, and Bobby McFerrin.
Sam Smiley - Guitar
His travels across the United States have led Sam to be wonderfully fluent in many musical genres. A world-class guitarist, he studied jazz at the highly acclaimed Western Michigan University and developed a love for country music with the German/American singer Antje. He’s a fixture with the popular bands Factory Rimz and Blue Moon Risin’ and is arguably the best pedal steel player in the Midwest.
Daniel Thatcher - Bass
Daniel plays bass in any musical style with a clear and intense passion. He graduated from the acclaimed music program at Western Michigan University, where he studied classical and jazz bass performance. He has played at Carnegie Hall. And he has played in coffee shops. Daniel simply loves what he does. The diverse Chicago music scene is truly a place where Daniel has found his niche and is now in high demand.
Joe Hettinga - Keyboards
An impressive resume beginning at age seven, Joe is a renaissance man of music. Although an accomplished drummer and vocalist, Joe is nationally-known for his stellar keyboard skills. He was the pianist for the Downbeat Award winning jazz ensemble, Gold Company, and played keyboard for The Ides of March, best known for their Billboard hit, “Vehicle.” Joe has performed at New York City’s Town Hall and Lincoln Center. A songwriter and Chicago favorite, Joe also holds a private studio of 30 piano students.
Bob Parlier - Drums
At age nine Bob first picked up a pair of drumsticks and it was meant to be. He studied with Paul Weico and Joel Spencer as well as at Columbia College. Over the years, Bob has played all over the U.S. with such diverse acts as The String Cheese Incident, The Fareed Haque Group, Mossa Konte, Deep Banana Blackout and Sound Tribe Sector Nine. Now calling Chicago home, Bob continues to share his gifts teaching and performing with bands including The Glen Roberts Group, The Andrea Amos Quarter, Factory Rimz, The I.M. Trio and Guilty Pleasures.
